MCProds company, created in March 2010 by Carmela Caniglia Sodano and Mario Canglia, produces motion pictures and audiovisual projects highlighting stories from the everyday mundane appearances, but which holds in the experience of life in its most radical sense, the emotion that arises from the surface of things.

Since its inception, MCProds published on DVD, with the support of the Centre National de la Cinématographie (National Film Centre), a program of films consisting of a first feature, Toujours Tout Droit (Straight ahead), selected at São Paulo Festival, which depicts the quest of a man who has lost power of speech, and a short film, Le dimanche de la mamma (The Sunday of the mamma), Press Prize at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival, portrait of an Italian mother in the bosom of her family on a Sunday, the one when Fellini received extreme unction. MCProds also produced La ritournelle (The ritornello), a musical dramatic comedy dealing with the amorous encounter between two people with limited horizons to daily habits and dreaming of some escape.
